It would also be good if your child is properly buckled in the car, unlike in your photo. The nearest child has the seatbelt too high on his neck and is not using the belt guides on the booster, which is misuse of the seat. The furthest child has the seatbelt too loose (which means in an accident she could submarine under it out of the seat) and there is no head protection (most low back boosters specify that the vehicle seatback needs to come up to the top of the child's ears). If you're going to write an article on child safety, please show safely secured children in your photos! Those children would not be safe in an accident, which is not good pictured on an article about keeping kids safe!

A great place to get your seats checked is Ikea. Last Wednesday of every month starting at 9am you can get your seats checked by a car seat tech for free. You can find other car seat check locations at http://www.safekids.org/ . Like your picture, most people are misusing their car seats and putting their children at high risk for serious injury/death. Getting seats inspected is a smart move.
