http://reviewzntips.blogspot.com/ : Can Guest Articles Ruin Your Blog?

There's definitely some good advantages to guest blogging, but for me, I see the downsides as outweighing the good. I've seen quite a few blogs which I respect and admire that have opened their doors to guest bloggers and the quality of the writing was noticeably worse with grammatical and spelling errors left, right and center. If you take pride in the quality of your content and writing, it's hard to accept guest blogs without having the time to fully review and edit all posts before they're published. For some people that might not be a problem, but for others it clearly is and a few sites that I used to visit frequently have turned me off by the lackluster posts that have been produced by guest bloggers.

http://maddencorner.blogspot.com/ : Personalize Your Blog or Amazon Store

This is something that I've got to get round to doing. I just launched a new website and had the forethought to do the branding beforehand. However, my existing tutorials site was kind of built on the fly, so I never did any formal branding. I really need to rethink it and get it done. I think it's vitally important that your presence all over the internet reflects your branding through logos, colours and a unified stance on topics. Nothing worse than your brand being all over the place.

This is an excellent and comprehensive round-up of the best posts of late. I initially thought I'd landed on an irrelevant page when I saw all the food links, but was pleased to see a whole host of blogging and social media articles. Thanks!
Copy Paste : Some Great Invoicing and Billing Tips for Freelance Designers

This was a really good and thorough post, at a time when I'm considering redesigning my invoices. I've been thinking about going with some invoicing software, but I want full control over the design and need to find a solution which allows for that.
Tycoon Blogger : Don’t make the same blogging mistakes that I made

I have to admit to making some of these mistakes myself. Most notably, not having a plan. I started out blogging about anything and everything and it took me longer than it should have to realise that in order to be successful, you need to write to a specific subject and audience. Biggest mistake of my blogging life My recent post Facebook &amp Twitter Buttons Without Plugins

Well clearly you have to exercise caution when allowing apps access to your profile. However, aside from ShareThis being very reputable, they also do not need to connect to your Facebook account, so there are no security risks

The Wandering Brit : Automate WordPress Database Backups for Care-Free Protection

I\\\'ve actually been looking for a plugin that will backup the files also. I\\\'ve been relying on cron jobs and FTP to do the leg work for me, but I\\\'d rather do it the way you have described. I\\\'m going to be checking that out. Thanks for the information

Hi Ileane - nice to meet you. I've seen your name floating around quite a bit, so it's good to see you here. I personally use IShowU HD for recording my screencasts. I wasn't sure about screencast-o-matic and had never heard of Screenr, but IShowU is a nice piece of software. Take care My recent post Add a Facebook Like Button to Your Site in 2 Minutes

http://reviewzntips.blogspot.com/ : Backlinks and Why They are so Important

There's no question that the best way to building your SERP ranking is backlinking, which is most easily achieved by commenting on other blogs. This also has the added benefit of building relationships with other blog owners, particularly those who have related blogs to yours.
