Why is Starlight in the middle of the friends?
Why is Bulk looking at Fluttershy...or is he looking at that tiny morsel Spike. Should Spike be worried? "In ma belly!!"

somehow I feel like it's end of the show and this is how they ended it. With everyone looking at the audience.

Rarity was with Nightmare Moon.
Rainbow Dash was in the military.(both Nightmares and Celestia)
And Applejack was at the farm.

So are they adding a new character or what? we'll see come season 6.
They gave the same special treatment as Diamond Tiara. They both have a song and redemption.
personally I think it might be more like Discord and not a permanent role within the main-6.

[oh before I forget:] And next season will have baby shinny butt and Fluttershy's brother.

But we already know what would happen:

Fluttershy and PinkiePie go all "Lord of Flies" in the everfree
Rarity designs outfits for Nightmare Moon (after all, villains have all the cool outfits)
AJ becomes a share hand to her own farm. (flim flam are the owners now. thanks Granny)
Rainbow enlisting in the Celestial military.

it's a uniform greyness. Nothing is uniform. You very the greyness so it doesn't look like you've just desaturated the image. Some parts should have more color than others.

In essence It looks sloppy.

Looks like a smoggy day in Southern California. I don't get it. Are the show artists trying to show the dull grayness of Ponyville? 'Cause it just looks like fog or smog. You'd think that that they'd do a better job of showing it's a dull place then taking Photoshop and putting a gray screen over the picture.

There is one thing to say about this episode: There was an actual conflict. The others didn't, in Griffinstone there wasn't a community and need to be started. In Made in Manhatten the community almost died and needed to be revitalized. Here in Hooffields and McColts it was a community at war with itself.
