Sock Monkey Sound : September 11th, 2001 | Where were you 10 years ago today? And many other questions that have no an

Thank you for reading, and the comments. I\'ve seen \"Loose Change\" and enjoyed it greatly- let me restate, no enjoyment, it angered me further. Many simple questions have never been answered; i.e., the Pentagon plane, that part of the building, seems to be a big mystery still. I wonder if these details will ever be addressed. I doubt it, maybe information in this day and age can remain Top Secret, somehow; or for the better of our overall safety. Something\'s not right though. Many answers missing from this day in history. AW

Sock Monkey Sound : Wilco "The Whole Love" - Art, songs, stuff

Same here, it definitely has a bit more hop than what was released on the last record, which was formula. Bad Wilco is still better than most/all bands... it\\\'s hard to hear a formula and ignore it after awhile which I feel they found for the last 10 years and crammed it on home. The blue 45 is on its way here and the Lowe cover is a nice touch. Flipside, it\\\'s already been nice growing up with Tupelo/Volt/Wilco... now it\\\'s going to be nice growing old with Wilco running their own label. Cheers, Jeff, and thanks for reading!

You could be right in some ways, I\\\'ve heard much better attempts at ukulele folk songs by poor, unknown street vagabonds- so yes, the fame thing is part of the problem here, but not the main problem. The songs lack something essential, a better singer and uke playa. ; ) Thanks for readin. AW

There were so many songs to choose from, I agree with John Wesley Harding. Big pictures are the present and the future. Publishing words that grow up against the cows graze should be a daily deal, in our newspapers. I miss Mike Royko, Jojo. I do. I heard a local, liberal, elitist minion say out loud last year, \\\"freedom of speech is knowing what not to say and when to be silent.\\\" I laughed silently (sadly) and thought, move to Kim\\\'s N. Korea, or Putin\\\'s Russia, if that\\\'s how you feel about freedom. Cows graze in rhythm. <strong>Tuesdays Bruce! Henley Wednesdays! Stephen Tyler Thursdays! Corey Hart Fridays! Mercury Mondays! Freedom!</strong> AW

Sock Monkey Sound : Danger's Quick Friday Lecture

Thanks again Dr. Stewart for teaching me about what is out there in the world that I&#039;m successfully unaware of still. Aging softens the heart; and hardens the hands from turning on the radio. I tried listening to WZOK a long time ago, wrote a piece on it; and haven&#039;t listened to FM since. Don&#039;t turn on the radio is a good lesson but inspiration still comes from shit.

Sock Monkey Sound : Wisconsin | Demolishing Democracy, A Cheap Trick

Paranoid, nah. Humored, you bet- but not by those commercials. Humor is earned, well written, not well timed and pandered in favor of city pride. These commercials pander to conservatives, Cheap Trick fans, and overall... complacency. Clean fun is not funny unless you&#039;re referring to a few &quot;Everybody loves Raymond&quot; episodes. That&#039;s clean funny, well written too. Sidenote. Thanks for reading, bottom line, math, hits, hideaway your paranoid, what I didn&#039;t write could be worse, funnier, still true. Rick Nielsen, politicians wandering downtown, Rockford, are not funny. Hide your love away, Cheryl, Rockford is going to break your heart whether you want it to or not. AW

Well, he wasn\\\'t \\\"dropped,\\\" but, he\\\'s not their touring drummer. Being that Cheap Trick is more known &amp; respected for being a great, live touring, rock n\\\' roll band rather than a studio band- take that however you will.
