I'm also running 4.3.2 with baseband 1.59.00 and it's stable for me as well. I had the 1 signal bar issue, but downloading the newest ultrasn0w (1.2.3) from Cydia fixed this!

So do I understand you correctly, that using PwnageTool means I'm starting the jailbreak and unlock process anew? I'm already jailbroken and unlocked. I guess my confusion is really about the wording "This means iPhone unlockers can safely restore to a custom 4.2.1 pre-jailbroken IPSW and retain their current baseband and unlock." Do they mean retain the present unlock or retain the *possibility* to unlock? Oh, and thanks for replying!

After reading through comments here for a couple of hours, I am convinced I am extra dense... I have an iPhone 4 on FW 4.0.1, BB 01.59.00, jailbroken and unlocked. (Jailbreakme/Ultrasn0w). I use a Mac. If I use PwnageTool 4.2 to install a custom FW 4.2.1, will I have to unlock again? Will Ultrasn0w unlock 4.2.1 with BB 01.59.00? (I remember from my original iPhone that back then PwnageTool included the option to unlock. The Dev-Team's post says it "retains" the baseband and unlock... I'm confused.) "smokingiphone" already gave great instructions, but they seemed PC based and iClarified doesn't address the unlock question nor the baseband. Any help/instructions/tips.thoughts appreciated!

Yes, for voice calls. But T-Mobile prepaid doesn't allow data access other than their portal.

Thanks for your help. In the meantime I had found PwnageTool 3.01, which seems to be the version for PPC to use on 3.0. (Not 3.0.1, it was released before that update!) It worked fine, though it seemed very slow compared to previous versions.

2G iPhone running 3.0 – I tried both PwnageTool and redsn0w unsuccessfully on PPC. PwnageTool crashes each time while trying to build custom ipsw. redsn0w hangs at "waiting for reboot". I have previously used Pwnage Tool on 2.2.1 without issues and unlocked more than one phone, I can follow instructions... But I can't figure this out. Someone here said both don't work on PPC. Is that true? (there is no mention of that anywhere) Any input? Thoughts? Help? Thanks.
