Has anybody else here seen some similarities between Spencer Dinwiddie and Burks coming out of high school.
ESPN's evaluations of the 2 are scary similar.

I think the way Burks developed was unique and I doubt that Spencer will be as big of an impact right away but you never know, we might have another future lottery pick onboard.

I heard Burks is going to 'test the waters' in the draft. He apparently is also going to sit down with Chauncey and
talk about it. My money is that Chauncey will tell him to come back. Either way I understand he's gotta do whats best
for him and his family, but hope to see him in black and gold next year.

I know I'll probably get some haters for asking this, but did I miss something?
because in Bleacher Report's NIT watch they made it sound like Burks would not be back another year.
I know he dominated the Big 12 tourney but he hasn't said anything yet has he?

I seem to remember something about you clowns talking like Kansass was the best thing to happen to College Basketball last year. Then you proceeded to get the living $hit beat out of you by Northern Iowa.

I think the tournament snub might encourage him to come back to make things right. I could also see it swaying him the wrong way though.

I may be getting ahead of myself and I may be a little on the optimistic side but if we beat Iowa State I think we have a decent chance at taking down K State. They are definatley one of the hottest teams in College Basketball but I don't think we beat them twice just off dumb luck. Theres something to the way Higgins and Sharpe defend little beardy. If they can do that again I like our chances.

I know we should all be worried about winning out way into the tourney but "I wonder if I'm goin to have a senior nite like my dudes had tonite tho" tweet from Alec Burks after the game makes me think he is probably sticking around.

I don't think it's over yet. A lot of bubble teams around us have been going down and the seniors will make sure we don't choke again if we get another shot in the Big 12 tourney.
