I was disappointed in the judges from the last show in the way that they discounted Antonio's position on the color "tan". As a design customer, I would expect that if designers really disagreed with my vision for my space, then they would say so up front and try to sell me on their position. From a designer standpoint it is a huge risk for future business to ignore such a huge preference such as color since it results in a $2-5K redo (professional) if the customer ultimately hates it a month later (not to mention the furniture/accessories which are framed around color)...and the designer may not be invited back to do the rest of the house. I can't imagine as a customer sitting in front of Antonio as a designer and having a disagreement...will I end up walking away feeling like some idiot because I want the color "tan"? I wouldn't invest $20-$30K in a designer who didn't make me feel like my ideas were worthy. I know there are others who totally disagree with this...it's just an opinion.
