It's all about the SLOW BURN, MAGGLE.
Bret was never a really charismatic type of guy, in the context you're using. He was supposed to sell the story in the ring.
That being said, the man has had two strokes. Most of us are just happy to have him around.
I understand that this is pro-wrasslin' and the trophy getting smashed is almost a given. But I feel like they should not do that. Let it elevate some guys and then as those guys get over, the trophy does as well. Then down the line, when say, a runner-up gets frustrated and does smash the trophy ala Bad News Brown at WM IV, it will seem like a much bigger deal.
Im not necessarily saying you're wrong; but in what way do you think Bray I'd better than Kane? I've been watching Kane as long as he's been around and I think he looks as good as ever. I think he's actually in the home stretch of his career and is really putting it all together right now. He's in fantastic shape, they've freshened up his character, he's had some great matches with Bryan. Bray is a fantastic character and very good in the ring. But you can't teach 20 years of experience in the ring.
It will be live on the network.
Why aren't they putting up the episodes of Hardcover TV in order? It's close but it's still not quite right. I started watching ECW around summer 95, so I don't know a lot about their TV earlier than that. Is there a reason they're putting them up like this when they could be releasing them in order?
It would be really neat if maybe WWE ended signing a deal with ABC/Disney/whatever after they're done with NBC Universal or whatever the case is. Then have Fandango on DWTS. BUT he's gotta be in kayfabe. THE WHOLE TIME. I would actually watch the show.
I get the feeling it's going to be Sting challenging EC III. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Sting more than a lot of guys his age that are still going, but I'd really like to see someone in this spot tonight. I hope I'm wrong.
It would be one thing to say that you really, really don't like him and wish you didn't have to watch him on TNA. But saying that "dude is horrible" is flat out ignorant and makes you look like a silly know it all smarky douche. He's been one of the bright spots in TNA lately, in my opinion (and the opinion of many others who actually know what the hell they're talking about). Pull your head out of your ass dude. You'll enjoy wrestling much more if you stop trying to criticize everything.
Oh for Christ sake. I get so tired of seeing people complain about Randy Orton. Other than the fact that it seems he is in his position based on politics, I don't understand where all the hate comes from. Wrestling, especially sports entertainment, isn't all "work rate, work rate, work rate". We've all heard the stories about him being a huge douchebag in the past. But it seems that since he had a child he's really cleaned up his act. He has all the tools to be a star and he's a fantastic entertainer. It is not his fault that the creative team/Vince McMahon can't seem to get their shit together in regards to keeping him in entertaining storylines.
