Idont know what dept. you're talking about but the one I work for struggles DAILY with not having enough help. You obviously dont have a clue!

What most citizens of Rowan County are probably not aware of is the fact that the leaders of this county have decided that the County Parks And Recreation Dept. can not do without their workers and therefore have been exempt from having to take furlough days while Deputies are required to do so. So the next time your home or car is broken into, ask yourself if this could have been prevented. Certainly having the grass mowed or the trash bags changed on time is more important than having valuable law enforcement officers patrolling the streets! SMART MOVE COMMINISSIONERS!!!!!

I agree whole heartedly,but obviously you are not familiar with how the judicial system works here in Salisbury.

Magistrates give low bonds because the jail is constantly overcrowded and quite often has no room for people like this who are considered "non voilent offenders". Construction is currantly going on at the jail to add more room but as soon as it is completed it will be filled within days if not hours. The court system may give him what is considered a justified sentence but he will be released early due to "good behavior" which is just another reason to flush the prison system due to overcrowding.What is needed are more jails and prisons to keep people like this off the streets and in turn create more employment for people who arent afraid to work for a living.

I'VE KNOWN THIS GUY SINCE HE WAS TWELVE YEARS OLD. HE WAS A PILL HEAD THEN AND HAS BEEN ONE EVER SINCE.THE ONLY WAY HE WILL EVER BE STOPPED WOULD BE IF HE WERE LOCKED UP FOR GOOD. JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE HE KILLS SOMEONE!
