brupp.com : Quick Tip - Font embedding in Flex 3.0 - II

Gaurav, thanks for pointing it out. You can specify unicode range in css itself. Here is a useful link: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?c...

brupp.com : Communicating with a loaded Application in Flex 3.0

Thanks Andrew for the link. But the reason I didn't cast the Application is that the "Interface" file then need to be present/compiled in both the application (if the applications are part of two separate projects). So essentially there will be two interface files (same name) that need to be maintained. What would you recommend?

Hi Koch, Thanks for your compliment.... though I am not a guru and learning new things every day. My suggestion for anyone who is new to actionscript is to look at it as any other OOP lang and try to understand the pattern behind it and not get stuck in the syntax only.... Think of the bigger picture everytime to write a line of code.... Study the code of "ace" actionscriptors... and practice as much as possible.

brupp.com : Creating Facebook application with Flex

Yes Satiya, it is not only possible to create web apps with flash/flex using AS3.0 but it is the most happening technology for creating web apps these days. As for your question the above application runs in browser however if you want to port this inside FB you need to change the configuration in FBs “Advanced” tab “Application Type” from “Desktop” to web based.. (or similar word check it out). Keep Exploring!

brupp.com : Why Brupp?

I think I didn't put my point well or I should say the article is just a part of 'the story". Well it is a materialistic goal and in no way a spiritual one. However I am pursuing it because I think it will "bound me least" (read my above comment) , and will make me more free. Thanks for your critical analysis and keep posting.

brupp.com : Why Brupp?

Thanks tushar for your comment. The point I was trying to convey was that during the course of pursuing a "materialistic" goal (for physical gain) you get bounds with materialistic attributes of desire, attachment ego etc. Its a food for body and mind and not soul.I ll discuss more on this upcoming article. Thanks for pointing it out. However, the way you see goal "unleashing" your self is a better perspective to see to it.
