totalBarca : Working towards a better totalBarça

You guys do what you need to do. I am a little sad but you have my full support. Hey folks this is FREE! It's a gift we've been given so let's approach it that way. Let's just say THANK YOU and if it has to go through FB we can still support it. Since I don't have the skills or the time to be a staff person and share in the responsibility I can't tell TB staff they are doing the wrong thing. Keep up the good work Harsha and the rest. BTW I am really looking forward to maybe some more articles about the staff sometime. I loved learning about you guys. Thanks again wherever you feel you need to take this. ;)

I don't have Facebook. I hope all commenting doesn't have to go through that cuz I couldn't comment then. I understand if you have to do that. It looks like alot of work you guys do. I'll still visit the site though regardless.

Agreed my fellow emerald-cityite. All in all TB does great I think and part of the diving of maturity level in the commenting is, I think, partly because it's the off-season. That's been the trend for the few years I've followed this site. Let's all remember our role...as I see it my top prioroty is to resist 'feeding the trolls'. It works every time. Some are more persistent but if we just don't respond to utter nonsense they will get bored and give up. Thats my humble opinion. Go TB you folks are great!

totalBarca : Stat of the Day: a weaker Spain?

Good observations. Xavi wants to be involved in scoring. Always looking for the deadly pass...even a long ball. I say put Pedro or Llorente in there as options as well.

totalBarca : Quote of the Day: Rosell on Cristiano Ronaldo

I havent logged on in awhile, but I agree with your outlook and this comment by Prez made me speak up. I think we'll see more comments that maybe aren't the best choice now that Pep is gone only because he raised the level of maturity and honor as far as media responses. The more we just don't play the same cards as Madrid, etc. the worse they look. I don't wanna lose that._

totalBarca : The Highlights: FC Barcelona 4-0 RCD Espanyol

No I am just an American living thousands of miles away. I wish I could go to see them. Maybe someday. What I meant was even though I can't be there and I can't even speak their language(s), it's as if I could feel the emotions even though I am from a different world. I just have the privelege of being a distant fan but I'll take what I can get and hope that Messi will someday want to play for the Seattle Sounders FC when he's about 38 ;) I know even that's a long shot. He said he wants to play in Argentina when he hangs up his European boots. By then he'll probably have 10 'golden' ones.

Thx again for posting great highlights Harsha and fcbhighdef. I'll never forget that embrace after the 4th goal. What a moment. It feels like 70K family members enjoying an incredible moment. I wish I could have been there!

totalBarca : Dealing with Pep's departure

Good observation. I agree 100%. I felt exactly like the writer of this article. I cried as well and was surprised by how emotional I was. Pep's such a great man. The main image stuck in my mind was when he was giving his acceptance speech for best coach last year. The camera went to his wife and kids and you could see the pride and the admiration on the smile of his beautiful wife (or partner, I forgot). You can't fake that. I just love this guy and I know he's more than a football genius he's someone I really look up to. I want to see him back some day I hope ;)

True. He's ultra cocky and the opposite of Pep in some ways but also true maria that he's a brilliant legend. I prefer to call him 'The Architect' as I've heard others say ;)

totalBarca : Reader Submission: This is not an end, but a beginning

I keep thinking about Michael Jordan. I understand Pep didn't suffer the loss of His father as a 'trigger' that caused him to lose his incredible hunger but something did. I don't think it was that we failed on CL/Liga. MJ came back and won another stack of championships and was unstoppable again. I am very confident he'll be back blowing us away again.

Yeah and I see him as a coach. Not Xavi, only because he said he doesn't want to. Maybe that'll change. Also maybe Masch.

I love Johan as my name suggests...but u make a good point. Pep by comparison has his ego more under control and knows how to balance not letting troublemakers iwith big egos in the locker room bring the team down and stay humble and in-control. Very few have that leadership gift and football brilliance.
