Kit Up! : Kit Up! 2.0

If you are sugguesting that pulling out of Afganistan is a legitimate option for Obama to make, militarily or otherwise, then obviously you haven't studied much in the way of world history. Why do you think we have had so many problems in Iraq from the Shiites. They were our allies in the first Gulf War and when we pulled out hastily without removing Sadaam and didn't back them up, what happened? They were slaughtered! You think maybe they held a grudge......maybe didn't trust us a little? History is filled with examples like this. What do you think will happen to the Afgans who have supported us if we pull out before the job is done? The Taliban will slaughter THEM......men, women, and children.....and send their society right back to the Dark Ages as well as ensuring that Afganistan will NEVER be an ally of the US. Would you trust a 'friend' EVER AGAIN who ditched you in the toughest moment of your life? I don't think so. What Obama (and you, the writer of this article) had better consider is can he stomach the loss of thousands upon thousands of Afgan lives because that will be the result of his 'taking time to think.'
