I know Nolan said something in his blu-ray Q&A about Dent being dead. but look at his character structures. many have two sides, many have alter egos. one side can be killed off but another can survive. Dent's image/personality can die, but two face can live on. Batman is condemned for the next film, but Bruce Wayne will survive and live on. what if as a result he can actually live a normal life? what if in the next film he can love and not have it hindered by his duties as batman? it's easy to kill off a personalitiy, but another personality still can linger within the same character/person.

Another thing i think we should consider about the last scene of the movie...when batman tackles harvey over the edge...his coin lands face up on the floor...maybe Nolan is hinting that he may come back....any thoughts?

Killer Croc like computer Generated? or have someone in a Killer Croc Suit. cuz if we had a CG Croc, Nolan's Batman would start lookin alot like a crappy spiderman movie. It was cool what they did with Dent's face, but an entire character in CG would suck. and if they went with a full Croc suit, it would be like Bane in Batman & Robin.

Depp is a talented actor, dont get me wrong. i think we should just consider the possibility of maybe another young, up-and-coming (like Ledger) to come in and fill the gap...at the end of this board I posted a possible story that i think would flow well with Nolan and Goyer "Batman Universe". its only a quick scroll down. check it out.

If Depp rocks the shit out of Public Enemies then maybe we could see him in a Nolan Batman movie. Lets see how his chemistry is with Bale in PE before we consider him a villain in Batman. Only reason i couldnt respect and believe Depp as a villain is i would see his face from Charlie & the Chocolate Factory in every scene. plus he's pretty booked for the next 5 or so years for him. unless you wanna wait til 2015 for another batman movie, i think we should take a look at other possibilities.

i posted this on the harvey dent board too.the joker has had an assistant in the past. Harley Quin. She could be that link. that sub character that brings us back to the Arkham to see Joker for possibly one last time, to close the loose ends and we can leave Ledgers flawless performance uncontended. From there, Harley can gather a group of villains that will bring terror to gotham while bruce is stuck debating whether to act or let things get even more worse...before it gets better.

what could lewis or d'onofrio do for it? really? i dont wanna watch batman fight the giant cockaroach from Men In Black. your right about Joker being incarcerated. they will use that in the next one. guaranteed. with a body double and maybe some lost footage. they need a reason to "revisit" Arkum, tho...which is still pretty empty with most of the patients still loose. but we need a sub character or plot to make our way back there. we cant just Val Kilmer "Batman" it and go visit the riddler at Arkum cuz Nicole Kidman is there and a seal song in the background. lets hear some ideas about possible stories/plots/characters/etc.

depp as the riddler? are u serious? that would go way outside of Nolan's dark film-noir influence. we would have another crappy tim burton batman movie. no riddler...new, lesser known villains. there are ways to link them into the story nolan has laid down already.

ok, how about this for a new villain. Harley Quin...the joker's assistant. i remember her from the cartoons and im just lookin up some stuff about her character online...if you go to the viral website, The Gotham Times. find Issue 2 and go to page 3...read the article titled "Mystery Deepens as Family Found Dead at Carnival." what if Nolan takes that small psuedo villain and makes her a mastermind responsible for those murders. if they bring her into it, they can have scenes of her visiting joker at Arkham to close those lose ends. then she can bring in other big name villains.____Who could they have play her? Brittany Murphy.__Other Big Names? Penguin maybe played by Phillip Seymour Hoffman?

same here man. maybe he knew his portrayal of the joker was soo awesome, he took his cut, faked his death and retired early. didnt paul mccartney of the beatles try to fake his own death...i would...if i knew my music would be in crappy target comercials and covered by the jonas brothers, i would do it. no disrespect to ledger. possibly the most dedicated young actors of our time. maybe he's soo dedicated, he's going on a solitary hiadus to some island off South America to prepare for his role as the joker...in a padded room...if only Jim Carrey was that dedicated to his role in Batman Forever. http://content9.flixster.com/question/36/43/20/36...
