Thank you for your apology. I would be very interested in the changes in usage over time, I do believe that the hangar vacancy rate in Boulder is higher than it's been in a long time. I've lived directly under the base leg of the landing pattern for the past 23 years and I think I notice fewer planes now that 10 years ago, but that may be because of a AC upgrade that means my windows are left closed all summer.

I was unaware I, as an individual, could speak for the masses? All daily camera comments all opinions of an individual, I just have the courtesy of pointing out it's what I think. I'm not sure of the difference in flight volume. The average plane was a lot louder though. I still don't see the difference between this and if someone moves into a house backed up against a highway then tries to get the highway shutdown because of all the trucks, moves next to a harley dealership and has a problems with the bike noise, or moves next to a fire station and complains about the sirens.

The airport has been there since before WWII. If someone didn't want to hear the sound of airplanes they shouldn't have bought a house under the pattern. Unless someone has lived there since before the airport was built then I think they shouldn't complain. The only person I've heard from who I feel has a valid complain about the airport had the complaint that he couldn't go quail hunting on the mesa anymore because they built the airport.

The "just about as much as alcohol" is completely relative to amounts of consumption. The fact remains the THC ca impair motor control enough to make it unsafe to drive.

Sure, if the cyclist was turning left and hit a car, it would be the cyclists fault... Even though the cyclist would be the one with the worse injury...

I believe every few years we need to retest to keep our license, and that the test needs to be more including that 2 lefts, 2 rights, 2 stop signs, and 2 lane changes...
