"People could be losing something that's so valuable, so irreplaceable, that they could end of being heartbroken. That is the sad part about it," Ruffin said.

Hopefully nothing irreplaceable was lost. The fact is a lot of storage units are filled with crap, used by pack rats and stuffed with nothing of value, monetary or otherwise.

"SUV helped keep him alive"

Finally a positive use of SUV in the liberal media.

Good for you for going with your gut. But I hope you have the time to chamber that round if you ever need to. If that time ever comes for me I'll have that extra couple seconds to use to my advantage.

I've carried at Christmas parties and Birthday parties. If nobody knows, nobody cares. Concealed means concealed.

I'm curious how a civilian would be treated if his story was the same as this LEO's. I'm not a cop hater, but something just doesn't add up. A Double Action Only pistol with a 6.5 lb trigger pull in a waist holster, shot in lung and heart, a hug from behind? Very fishy set of variables, in my opinion.

Thanks for the clarification. The updated article now states that it was an S&W M&P .40 which is DAO and comes from the factory with a 6.5 lb trigger pull. The really strange part is that the firearm was in a waist holster. Unless the officer did a trigger mod, (which is unlikely since it was a department issued weapon) there must have been some severe movement and jostling to get that trigger free of the holster enough for the trigger to be pulled. Very strange this case is.

From personal experience I can confidently say that Washam is a Class A D-bag.

I think Glocks are DAO. I have a Glock "clone" made by S&W which is DAO, no external safety. But I certainly agree that something went very wrong if the holster was a proper one.

Listen - I'm not off for the summer and don't have all day to research and footnote my replies. I actually work for a living and have a home life that's much more important to me. So you can take my comments at face value or not. I really couldn't care less what you make of them. I'll be glad once this whole global warming/climate change, or whatever you'll call it next is finally exhausted and dies away.

Don't let the screen name fool you, as it apparently has. I'm not going to believe the majority of these scientists with their "data". It's been proven that they skewed the numbers to fit their narrative. These people are dangerous.

Never under estimate stupid people in large groups.
