What hitter wants to come to a ballpark where the ability to hit home runs and off the wall doubles is almost non existent?
Sure you can visit for 2-6 games a year but call Safeco home? Really???!!!!!
If I am a major leage player that makes his money by jacking balls out of the park and drilling balls off of the back of the outfields, why would I want to come here?
The compenstion is usually based on batting average, slugging percentage and home runs generated for a big stick.
Safeco isn't where you are going to do that if you are playing there 81 games a year.
Just isn't going to happen.

The law must be blind in its application even to those that thumb their noses and disrespect it.
Frustrating in this case, yes. Part of what makes the USA great, absolutely.
Personally, my opinion is that high visibility celebs and especially sports figures need to be held to a higher standard not given greater latitude to make mistakes and reduced sentences because of their status.
In this case when a judge makes a procedural mistake by not hearing arguments by counsel that is just plain wrong.
It puts the case and the finding in jeopardy and leaves the whole case open for review and re-trial, an expensive and needless use of tax dollars.

No surprise here.
Colleges run their networks wide open. This is always going to happen.
For the majoriity of people credit card data will be the target of the soviet based criminals because it is easy and fast money.
The Chinese are after intellectual property and bringing products to market by stealing all of the R&D that others have done so they can manufacture specific products without the burdon of paying back all of the R&D costs.
The low hanging fruit that higher education presents is a primary target for these Cyber Criminals.

The most recent crime was completely preventable.
Why wasn't this POS locked up for life or simply executed back in 1993. Excution is my preference.
Any pedophile who is knowingly trying to infect children with HIV is a waste of air on this planet and just when you think a pedophile couldn't be any worse here comes Adam Lee Brown who not only leaves his victims with a horrific memory but a potentially deadly disease as well.
This is as bad as it gets.

You have come full circle. The court of law is exactly were the level is determined for sex offenders based on evidence, behavior, demeanor in the courtroom and reports from law enforcement, prison officials, counselors and psychiatrists if engaged. After all of that data is evaluated then a number is designated for the offender. That number/level is not an arbitrary finding.
"..stable housing, stable employment and stable, healthy relationships." Wouldn't that be great if we all had those parameters in our lives everyday? Look around rudy, all of those conditions change for the better and for the worse all the time. Foreclosure, unemployment, divorce, relocation, betrayal and so on and so on.They are not excuses or reasons for people that commit crimes. They are the conditions we all live in. How you handle these conditions is a choice you make.
Again, your comments are for a utopian world where criminals do not re-offend, people learn from their mistakes, blame does not exist and everything is good when we shake hands and forgive one another.
Hurt or harm my kids there will be a problem. No handshake, no forgiveness.

I think that when a person violates another person’s basic human rights such as rapists and pedophiles, the rights and freedoms for that specific violator are no longer what they used to be.
Specifically, pedophiles and rapists have taken something that can never be returned, namely innocence. Their victims memory can’t be wiped clean never to remember.
Your ideas are valid in a utopian world where criminals come out of prison rehabilitated and never re-offend.
Criminals re-offend, more children are violated and the cycle replays more often than not. That is the world we live in.

You are correct, I do not want to have a sex offender living next to me or my children, ever. That would be the real test of your ideology.
From a statistical perspective I am not willing to have my children be a victim by putting them in a high risk environment.
If there is no way to identify groups of offenders how do you protect those that are innocent from those that are likely to re-offend?
Seems to me that your ideology protects the guilty not the innocent.
