Currently Snopes has this as "Undetermined." If it ever comes back as being true then every citizen of the U.S. needs to join the battle to stop it. If they don't, they won't have anybody but themselves to blame. First the bullets then the weapons - "Then" the bad guys will have a field day all across the U.S. Absolutely the most stupid idea I've ever read pertaining to ammo and weapons.
