Notice how neither of them actually do anyting good or evil but only influence the mortals around them. Jacob influenced all the survivors where as "Locke" influenced Ben in order to kill Jacob. These two men are simply good and evil its pretty straight forward. also who else was happy that the charlie's drive shaft ring loose end was finally tied up. The new checkov was just god awful... I know he has a thick accent, im a fan of the old show, but this new actor looked like he was on the verge of cracking up the whole time he was speaking. It seemed like he was mocking himself the whole movie.
