I also believe that there are many people, some of whom undoubtedly also understand the Constitution, who would share my interpretation. You probably know, as a student of the law, that the Supreme Court had dissenting opinions as to the Constitutionality of this issue. In fact, some states have decided that to ask a driver to answer questions about his drinking and forcing a sobriety test violates the fifth amendment as well. The only one that had such results was by the EPA and a federal court threw it out for being misleading and decided the "increased rate of various cancers" was not statistically significant.
