The progressive attitude toward collectivism is why more and more of us are turning to groups such as the Tea Parties and United in Liberty www.unitedinliberty.org Principle #3 correctly states that "Prosperity occurs when free enterprise...exists..."

Big Government : Code TEA: Tea Parties, Go Home! All Politics Is Local

Capital Confidential is correct. The reason ACORN has been so successful (well, until lately) is that they do work on a local basis. This is where one can TRULY make a difference. There are already groups doing this, however. One which has been very effective is not one you hear about in the National Media (because it is keeping things local) is United in Liberty. www.unitedinliberty.org is all about organizing SMALL pods of concerned citizens for the purpose of education on the true principles of government (called the 12 Principles of Liberty) and activism at the most local of levels. They are going to city council meetings, planning and zoning meetings, school board meetings, etc. It is at the local levels that we have lost our liberties. It must be from the bottom up that we renew them.
