I sometimes have problems when trying to conceal a shooting spot, mainly because clearing away leaves and twigs underneath is practically impossible. I find that if I clear the top layer and put down a small mat I carry in my pack, it helps somewhat.
This was great, I like the idea of getting to use a classic bow without having to fork out for one (in case its not for me!). I'll check them out - Good job :)
I've been considering getting a recurve (up til now, i used compounds) but wasnt sure where to start, the bow shop near me wasnt really much help but your article answers a few questions I had, thanks. Still not sure on what ammo would be best, but im sure the shop can help with that
Shooting a compound is much more fun for me, ive never gotten on with Xbows. I guess if you want it raw you should take a recurve, but as far as the hunt goes its compound all the way.
I only recently used some Carbon Express - i had trouble with them at first and was always a way off target. Im not really sure how or why but it took quite a few attempts before I was back on form. I can only assume I over compensated for _something_ but dont know what - any ideas? Other than that, great ammo
