I guess these people dont realize that the timber industry in Oregon and Washington creates A LOT of jobs. Whether is timber, coal or oil all of it brings jobs. Then again I dont see any of these people keeping a job, but hey an arrest record always looks good on a resume (end sarcasm).
Well the great thing is, Kitzhaber will take in those wonderful persons who even have committed crimes like murder and rape, because there is no way to know what their criminal background is. Then when they commit the same crime again, Kitzhaber wont allow them to be put to death. I have to say, this governor is pretty backwards.
Ah as usual Kitzhaber is useless. I find it always silly how people are standing around saying the law Arizona made was racist. I dont remember that law stating that it had to do with hispanics specifically, it was about anyone who was in this country illegally and I am guessing as usual it was ASSUMED that they meant hispanics because Arizona is close to mexico. I also find it funny how people are saying, illegals are just trying to make a better life for themselves. To those people I say this, is a thief not trying to make a better life for themselves by robbing your house and stealing your television? Both are breaking the law and equally wrong. Illegal immigrants commit numerous crimes when they come over, including entering and remaining illegally as well as identity theft and fraud. I also could only imagine how many jobs would be available if all the staff had their immigration status checked? Would prices go up on products? Sure, but its jobs for a jobless nation.
I bet all those bleeding hearts feel pretty stupid right now. Another dirtbag with drug issues robs banks, SHOCKING. His behaviors are not excused no matter how sorry he is he got caught. Lock him up and throw away the key.

Can we agree that thieves are trying to make a better life for themselves by stealing? The point of this matter is this, no matter what, this guy was in the wrong. Just because you got YOURSELF(ie the Dirtbag) in a bad situation doesnt mean everyone needs to feel sorry for you. The only thing this dirt bag should be thankful for is that the people he either attempted to car jack or did car jack were not armed and did not shoot him. The family should be disowning this scum sucker for his actions.
Los Angeles news stations do the same thing all the time, so oh well.
Ive been saying that for years, now what do you know, very much like LA type of situation. We even have the blue uniforms and the cruiser to match (sure its not a black and white, but close enough). During the 80s portland had really bad carjackings, all it took was a guy shooting the carjacker to stop car jackings for about 20 some odd years. Maybe we need someone else to smoke a carjacker? Unlike LA people here can have guns concealed legally and high capacity magazines.
Well the juvenile justice system is a joke, so regardless of the arrests and convictions, I am sure kids will be back at it again. Shockingly (no not really) Black community leaders have not spoken out against this....
