On that subject, there is never any criticism of Israel, as a supposed democracy, for taking retribution into their own hands and hunting down and murdering these terrorists through Mossad, and not giving them a fair trial.

Imagine the international uproar if MI6 did the same thing with IRA killers. When the SAS killed 3 suspected IRA terrorists in Gibraltar in 1988, on the basis of an imminent car bomb they were planning, all hell was let loose.

But then Israel lives by different standards.

Unlike Mark Wallace, at least you realise there is a difference between Jews and Israeli citizens.

Posters above (like nobby531 and emturner) are complaining about the ignorance of the interviewer and female interviewee, but it's a bit of a gaffe by Mark Wallace who makes a habit of writing pieces about Corbyn and Labour anti semitism, but if he himself is unable to make the distinction between the state of Israel and Jews, he's on a slippery slope, believing that criticism of Israel is being anti semetic.

Mark Wallace says "terrorists murdering Jewish people for being Jewish people" but he's conflating Jewish people with Israeli citizens. Most Jews don't live in Israel and the reason these Olympians were killed weren't because they were Jewish, but because they were Israelis. There may well have been Jews representing other counties in the 1972 Olympics but they weren't a target.

My local Waitrose has removed disposable takeaway coffee cups from its store today.

Conservatives should embrace the green energy concept and make it a core principle of their philosophy.

I hold no strong views on brexit (I didn't bother voting on it) but as the Chequers deal seems to be gaining traction with Barnier seeming to compromise as freedom of movement will probably not be a red line, and the predicted rise of Ukip hasn't happened, this has stumped all those diehard brexiters and fellow travellers on this board claiming political armageddon.

So Johnson and his band needed a diversionary tactic to keep his campaign on the road. But the whole thing has been mishandled by everyone and the only beneficiaries are Corbyn's Labour lot (though not the neocon Blairites anxious for his downfall) as the spotlight has moved from his own internal problems.

But May seems to be gaining the upper hand over the hard-line brexiters.

What is the point of you?

You serve no purpose to anything or anyone.

I thought you said you were now permanently living overseas.

Probably won't make a scrap of difference as you don't live in a marginal constituency?
