I totally agree with you!. In fact, I wrote about this same thing a couple of months ago. It is one of my pet peeves to see abandoned carts in parking lots. Sometimes you can't pull into a parking space because of an abandoned cart having rolled into the space. I don't know what can be done but I sure wish the people who do this could be held accountable for their laziness.

I disagree with you. The punks will just go to another park and take over. I know that something has to be done so that our parks can be safe for everyone. The city is going to have to step in and do something--maybe we should put all those red light cameras in the parkls! But of course that wouldn' generate any money !!

To Pianoguy24.. How is it that you can control 3 small kids to get into the store to get the cart, but cant return the cart to where it belongs? Are you going to pay for any damages done to vehicles due to your cart that is rolling around the parking lot because of the wind or another car hitting it into vehicles ? I dont think you would be too pleased if you came out of the store and found a cart rammed up against your car, with alot of scratches or dents to it !!! Unless you drive an old beater, then it's probably not safe enough for your 3 kids to be riding in it to begin with!

One of my pet peeves is to find an abandoned shopping cart in a parking lot--especially if it is left too close to a parked car. Some people are just too lazy tp put the cart in the space provided for them!

I am wondering if anyone else saw on TV the report of a robbery at a tatoo business? It stated that the police did not respond to that call for 4 hours! That was because there was a VIP in town. I guess if you are going to commit a crime do it while a VIP is here! Was this even in the paper--I could not find it? It took 2 hours to respond to my call about a theft from vehicle.

I wonder what kind of person gets satisfaction out of stealing lawn decorations? I went out this morning to find both my decorations gone from my plant pole. Probably kids with nothing better to do with their time!

Where do you live SemperFiGuy? Somewhere high and dry? These people have a right to be concerned. Some of them lost everything in the 2008 flood. I can't believe that you( a person who I assume has some connection to the Marines) can be so insensitive. Shame on you!

The Gazette has not only dwindled in size but in service. Many years ago I purchased a Gazette box and have had excellent service until about a year ago. Now I never know for sure where it's going to be--front steps, in the driveway, or even on the cement right below the box. When I complained they told me they did not have to put it in the box anymore. Well, maybe I don't have to subscribe anymore--there's the TV and the internet!

I would like to know why the city is not enforcing the rule that vehicles must be moved within a certain time after a major snowfall. There are cars on the residential streets that have not been moved since the last 6 inches of snow fell and the plows have a really hard time trying to get around them--not to mention the fact that the streets don't get cleared and are a mess.
