Also go here and check your settings, especially the Privacy and Storage Settings. Isn't it neato how Adobe has those settings there, on their page, and not on your own computer? As a side note, incognito browsing is awesome, but there are still files and stuff saved on your computer that you should clear out once in a while.

So who is hosting this site? I use Wordpress a lot for my own ~~procrastination~~ web sites and blogs. Loves it. For everyone who has erotic fantasies involving Apple (Fapple?), I highly recommend the Wordpress iPhone app. That to me was worth the price of admission for the phone itself. One of the better apps out there, and free (of course)!

Background: The company I work for just underwent a merger and as a result we have a new name. A couple weeks ago I sent an e-mail out to the whole company imploring everyone (yes, everyone) to change their e-mail signatures to reflect the new company name. Of course, I still had the old company name in my signature when I did this. I was just glad people were reading my message when the inevitable "You do realize..." e-mails started flying in.

I was going by this page, but I kind of remember Denton saying they 'shut off the Sitemeter' so it may be inaccurate. I know just by looking down the posts on the ca. site you can see it's a dead zone in terms of comments and pageviews. Check out the Quantcast. Such a scenic cliff!

I'm glad I actually read down through the comments on that post -- I knew the expats had to be somewhere. I can't see the ca. and uk. sites staying up much longer, as they're roadblocking the future and THE VISION. I'm trying to accept my de-Gawkerization. As someone else here noted, I feel bad for the writers, who basically are being told to take a 50% pay cut this month for something that doesn't seem like it will get better. Finally, I'm tired of ripping the new site in the comments there. No one of importance cares. It's not going to change, that much is clear at this point. In 5 years, I'll wash the inevitable New Yorker article about Nick Denton's downfall down with a shot of schadenfreude chased with hint of sadness.
