My dad use to have a word for this. He called it getting schnookered!! aka = conned
And look at Congress using emotions. They want people to LIKE it first, before they tell us the price. Much like a high pressure salesperson. I hope Americans wake up from their Utopia to smell the stench in our government!

Tells us we should drive green cars, but when time to order his presidential car? Didn't even get a hybrid.
Tells us to conserve energy, but can grow orchids in the Oval Office.
Tells us we can't sustain the debt he's created while he goes out on an EXPENSIVE night on the town.
The animal shelters thought the BHO family would choose a dog from a shelter, but I knew they wouldn't because that dog wouldn't be good enough for them.
They are snobs, elitists, arrogant, etc. And it makes me sick

The SOLE reason I currently have an SUV is because I rescue collies and I need the space. Quite often, the back of my SUV serves as an ambulance for a broken down half dead doggy.
So, the gov (as usual) says to hell with what's important to me!! Screw the collies who wound up in the position they are through NO FAULT of their own. So what if I can't find a car they will fit into. And before anyone says they can curl up in a ball, many times they've got broken bones so there's no curling up they can do. They can't move.
I had to laugh when BHO said how we all are being brought up to CA standards. I think the word he was looking for was DOWN

I love the admin's theory that the car prices will go up, but you will save that in gas? Hasn't happened so far cause they jack up the taxes on gas as use goes down!
