As far as the "value" that they offer, since AIG not only did not produce, but would fail without government bail out money, the government should determine what is fair and equitable. If your gonna take tax payer money to stay afloat, then the taxpayers via government should have a say. Wall Street did create a lot of the current mess we are in, and frankly, I do think it grossly unfair that unsuccessful executives who have failed in their duties are rewarded, while the rest of us have to suffer. Many people lose jobs, while corporate greedies get even richer, that is wrong, and capitalism does not work when all of the wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few people. Rich people are not being attacked under the Obama Administration, the tax proposal would only bring it back to the same rates as under the Clinton admin. What I can't understand is why everyone here seems to agree that Washington is full of crooks, but at the same time, blame President Obama. That makes no sense.
