Judging by the damage and the short distance between the 2 vehicles I would say the ferrari wasnt doing more than 50-60. The impact of the lighter ferrari (3000lb) deflecting off the much heavier Ford edge (4200lb) which was moving slow. Also the edge's frontal impact zone is well obove the ferrari's. Im inclined to blame the Ford on this one. As for what the cops say? well they cant seem to get past the archaic training they receive. Its not 1960.

The only way this kind of thing can be controlled is to change the ability to purchase a vehicle. That would only anger the people who wnt something done. Honestly cutting off a finger each time he commits an offence would be pretty reasonable.

Its unfortunate that so many rider wait until a nice day to drag their bikes out of 8mo storage. They get out on the road and seem to forget how to ride. Rain or shine cold or hot Im out there and this time of year makes me cringe. I feel bad for the guy as he prob got in over his head and paid the ultimate price. People please be careful and take it gradually. Get out and treat it as when you 1st learned to ride.

Hmmm same people that allow child molesters to move into neighborhoods within a block from a school? Oh yea this is a golden idea!

Botht the rider and the trooper pushed it over the limit. Both are total idiots and 1 got lucky. Maybe next time the trooper wont be so eager to think he is some kind of hero and back off when he pushes someone like he did.

It worked for Dune. I like seeing new movies with actors i have never seen. It brings out the character. Mission impossible? I have seen the movies and I have no idea what the main char's name is just Tom cruise. Star Wars was great as most of the actors were not known or new. With as many movies as Harrison Ford has made I still see him as Han Solo.

What if there was no gun in the car? they left the keys in the ignition? The child had started the car and popped into gear to have the van roll into people walking down the sidewalk? What then? How many of you have left a potential dangerous sitiuation just waiting to happen? A gun is a tool. Many things are tools. An accident happened and a child was taken from their parents. They cant get their child back. Ever. No child should die before their parents. I have a son and it would kill me to loose him. I cant imagine what the family is going through. You lynch mob mentality people should be ashamed of yourselves. If you have children go to them and look. Try to imagine them taken from you, watching them die the very life fluid draining from their little bodies. Shame on you.

Wow what a lynch mob you people are. The man lost a child by his own fault. He has to live with it for the rest of his life. His wife and children have to go on with this burned into their beings till the day they die. The child holding the gun will prob never recover from this. The positive thing that could come from this is have the family start educating people, go to schools, public functions and educate on gun safety. Teach parents and children the responsibility of weapons. Safety in the house, in the public.
