You know, this is tragic and when I look at the picture of the baby elephant it makes me quite sad. What we have to remember, however, that mother nature works in mysterious ways that we don't always understand. What if this little baby is sick or has some kind of negative gene or trait that she is trying to eliminate from the gene pool? Nature can be cruel and difficult for us humans to accept, but we need to consider these things. That being said, I hope everything works out in the best way possible for this beautiful little elephant, whatever that may mean.
