Change.gov : Join the Discussion: Former Sen. Daschle responds on health care | Change.gov: The Obama-Biden Trans

The only entities that win in our current system are the insurance companies. Our politicians need to be brave and transform our health care system, not just modify it here and there. A single payer system with an emphasis on prevention, and coverage for all. We pay $7200 per year for health insurance for three of us, and average an additional $3,000+ per year in co-pays, deductibles and uncovered health care expenses, and we are a very healthy family. I don't know how people who earn the average income can do it at all.
