Our politicians need to be brave and transform our health care system, not just modify it here and there. A single payer system with an emphasis on prevention, and coverage for all. We pay $7200 per year for health insurance for three of us, and average an additional $3,000+ per year in co-pays, deductibles and uncovered health care expenses, and we are a very healthy family. I don't know how people who earn the average income can do it at all.
