Phew! Because it would have been really awkward for the two of us to show up at the same beach party sporting identical pedi's.

These are not your toes, right? Please say they're not your toes. Unless they are, and in that case, they're breathtaking.

Oh Princess, you are a treasure. I haven't been posting here (though I lurk like a pro) because I've been busy with projects, teaching, brushing my hair, etc. I thought that some might think it tacky for me to drop in here and hustle my latest creation when I have spent the majority of my time with my nose pressed on the glass.

I hope no one thinks it in poor taste to talk about a project I made this week, a Justin Bieber-themed coloring book called "Rhymes With Fever." It's fun, its handmade, and it's appropriate for any age. I'd be interested in any thoughts you have on it: http://bit.ly/eQgxrl

Well, if nothing else, it's a really beautiful portrait of a very specific time in NYC. And her writing is really amazing. I don;t know why I was expecting her style to be messy and untamed, but it's not. She writes in this classic modern way, sharp and economical. I don't really know what I'm saying, I'm not a writer. But I'm a reader, and this book is great.

Just Kids, by Patti Smith. The two-page foreword had me weeping. So far the book is amazing.

Oh gosh, sadly no i'm not a man. A gay, yes, but a lady gay. I meant 'a brother' to mean John Hawkes, or other actors like him.

And you! I love coming here to see your pictures. They're just so lovely.
