From the beginning of the season I thought he would win, just as I felt when Guy Fieri was on. Jeffrey has an interesting background, cooks eclectic and fun food, and is easy on the eyes. His show could have been a fabulous international melting pot, he cooks the way I like to cook with exotic ingredients from around the world. I am very sorry that I won't get the opportunity to see this realized. Melissa may be a nice lady but she brings nothing new to the table. She is like another Rachel Ray. In addition her voice is nasally and grating. I did not get her finale dish, it was a big giant yawn. You can cook chicken in a lots of different ways? Who knew. I not only wanted to eat Jeffrey's dish I want to prepare it. So to sum it up: You had the choice of launching an interesting, unique and original show but you went with the cookie cutter boring option instead. Too bad. I will not watch Melissa's show for the same reason I do not watch Rachel Ray: They are boring, middle of the road and have really annoying voices. Oh, and I do not appreciate the constant "you must teach viewers something all the time" "do not use sophisticated terms you'll confuse the audience" nonsense that always comes up.
