This mail is collected then shipped off to Royal Mail distribution centres where Royal Mail are forced by the postal regulator to deliver this at just 7p per letter, making a loss. It seems to me like Labour are intent on sending our Postal service - the best in the world - to the dogs. What they don't seem to understand is that an organisation like this can NEVER be run as a business - it's a service; postmen and women provide a vital service to the community especially in rural areas (my dad being one of them).
