<title>The British National Party : Defend our public mail service</title>
<link>http://bnp.org.uk/2009/03/defend-our-public-mail-service/#IDComment16056321</link>
<description>Add to this the damage the government has already done, such as &amp;#039;Downstream Access&amp;#039;, where mostly foreign owned companies such as TNT charge large organisations such as banks to send out their mail. This mail is collected then shipped off to Royal Mail distribution centres where Royal Mail are forced by the postal regulator to deliver this at just 7p per letter, making a loss. It seems to me like Labour are intent on sending our Postal service - the best in the world - to the dogs. What they don&amp;#039;t seem to understand is that an organisation like this can NEVER be run as a business - it&amp;#039;s a service; postmen and women provide a vital service to the community especially in rural areas (my dad being one of them). Just another nail in the coffin - you&amp;#039;ve certainly got my vote every time! </description>
