Well, you see, Barney is from Massachusetts. That alone should tell you why he keeps his job. It used to be that I had a certain resentment for the people of Massachusetts because of their long, consistent stand to the left. With the most recent senate seat taken as a result of the "election" in Minnesota, I'm beginning to have my doubts about them, too. That race should not have been even been close.
You don't seriously think that Barney Frank would ever do anything to improve our country, do you? There are two political types, One type wants a bigger, more centralized government, the other wants a more limited government. Barney Frank is of the first type. We'd better find another way, because Barney Frank is not about to twitch a finger to do anything that appears to be a desire from the right.

Did you see the movie, "Dumb & Dumber?" Recall the scene where the crooks finally retrieved the briefcase that was supposed to be full of cash, but was full of IOU's? Jim Carrie assured them that those IOU's were "good as gold". Suuuuuure they were... The Chinese are holding the briefcase full of IOU's, and I'm sure they don't think it's all a big joke.
The second amendment is worthy of some close scrutiny. From what was the people expected to defend themselves? The Indians? The British? An oppressive government? Ornery neighbors?
We began to take orders from the Chinese when we closed our factories to have everything made in China with cheap labor. Remember when it was such a faddish thing for companies to announce that they were going "global?" Well, now they are eating our lunch, and "going global" is no longer the ingredient for wealth. You might notice that the standard of living in China has gone up.... and wages go up.. and China might need to call in some of those old crusty US IOU's just to sustain there energy needs and road building as they drive more and more...
It's not looking good for us, folks..
It's a sure bet, cajun... the stats have been coming in so long and clear that there is no doubt whatsoever that crime rates drop when the people are encouraged to defend themselves.
