Video Game News & Reviews - Kombo.com : Grand Theft Auto IV Animators Create Virtual Human

The term "bigotry" is reserved for discrimination that matters, like race or gender. I think it's pretty safe to say that Blizzard is not looking to bring their online-multiplayer-focused games to the Wii, since it lacks a platform comparable to the PSN or Live. Certainly someday they could come up with a new game that may work very well on the Wii, but with Starcraft, Diablo, and their new MMO likely to take up all of Blizzard's time for the foreseeable future, I don't think the Wii is a viable option for them. Diablo is just too risky to port, whereas it fits in very well with PS3 and 360 demographics and play habits.

Video Game News & Reviews - Kombo.com : AVP Gets Australian Classification

Agreed, what is needed is an R18+ rating. But doesn't forcing a clearly R18+ game through as a MA15+ title give the industry a bad image as far as public opinion goes? And that opinion is of particular importance right now. With GTA and other games setting a precedent for this sort of thing, the AVP appeal plays into the fantasy that developers are smut peddlers corrupting society. It also plays into Atkinson's argument that an R18+ category is dangerous because it would open the floodgates of unacceptable content, given what's already getting through at the 15+ level.

good point. I wonder if competitors see the Nintendo model as the way of the future, or just a fluke.

I think xezene was being sarcastic, I know I was. It looks like an error on Gamestop's part. There's no publisher or developer listed, no box art, and as f4r7tz said, nothing has been announced.

I wasn't anticipating it, but I got a hold of a copy of Uncharted 2 from a friend, and wow. Just wow. I don't think I've gotten this wrapped up in a game since I was in middle-school.

Video Game News & Reviews - Kombo.com : Epic Games VP: Natal will come Bundled with Every Xbox

Agreed. Really, MS has three choices: 1) do another price-cut, so that adding Natal will bring the price back up to it's current level. 2) let the price of the bundle go above current levels. 3) give away Natal for free. I wont hold my breath for that last one.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. One the one hand, the scene is like something out of Duke Nukem, but then again, maybe repulsion is what the devs were going for.

Yeah, PC and XBLA. They still haven't finished development on those, so if there's a chance of it coming to the PSN or WiiWare, it's still a long way off.

I wonder if that's because the screen is showing the PS Eye's video-feed as well as the virtual wands. When they demoed at E3 that lag didn't seem to be there, but it's definitely noticeable now.

Video Game News & Reviews - Kombo.com : Weekly Poll Results: Are You Frustrated With GameFly and the Quality of Their Service?

Agreed on the delay. There just aren't enough copies of new games to go around. The only way Gamefly could work is if you had the "3 games out at a time" subscription and didn't mind playing through games a couple months after they were released.

Yeah, I suppose it does. It's definitely a trade-off. Some people hate having text obscuring the screen, others don't mind. It would've been nice to get to choose, though.
