I should have mentioned, I'm currently on 3.1.3, trying to downgrade. Simply selecting the old firmware in iTunes gives a (20) error. Restoring in DFU mode gives a (1600) error.

Is there a simple way to restore a first generation iPod Touch to firmware 1.1.5 or earlier? Thanks

Will jailbreak monte eventually work on devices like the ipt3g? That is to say, Are the iPhone 4 and ipt4g the only devices supported right now for testing purposes, or is jailbreak monte specific to only the newest hardware? Thanks, I've been jailbreaking for 3 years, but this is my first post!
