Why does this not surprise me. The guy has no commitment quality at all. This has the potential to make the island of Japan a ghost town. This type of stopgap work is only going to make the situation far worse in the long run. Those folks need to be preparing for ultimate and complete cataclysm. This will need people on suicide missions to deal directly with the cores and spent fuel. No one will live through this process. This really is the worst of all nightmares for the Japanese people.
