The answer is that MMS is useful for sending to recipients with phones unable to access email with photos, but have an SMS/MMS plan. My main gripe about this game is that it's relatively difficult to select multiple words quickly and accurately, compared to a third party Boggle-like game I've played called, "Wurdle".
