Big Hollywood : Jenny McCarthy: When Celebrity Advocacy Turns Deadly

Again, my son is a meningitis survivor that left him with multiple strokes and years of therapy. There is now a vaccine to prevent the strain that he had and his sister and him have both been immunized against the other major strain. I would have given him a shot of anything to prevent the life-threatening AND life-altering disease that almost took his life.

Big Hollywood : What Shoulda' Won the 1983 Best Picture Oscar?

Terms of Endearment works because it's authentic. People act like that. They rarely have their acts together and they express their love in odd ways because, let's face it, we're odd, the whole human lot of us. Aurora loves Emma in her own crazy, misguided way but her daughter knows it, swims in it, it allowed her to be everything kind and tolerant and genuine. She was the parent in many ways. Life is meandering and rarely follows the course we expect it to and sometimes cancer gets thrown into the mix, just like the script of the movie. And sometimes Dad isn't capable of raising the kids and there isn't really a happy ending but we dust ourselves off, make the best of it and continue living. There was nothing false about this movie and that's what appeals to me so strongly. And why it deserved the recognition it received.

Breitbart.com : Polanski\'s arrest on warrant for 1977 sex charge ends 31-year exile, could lead to his freedom

Why are people defending his actions - because he directed amazing movies? What he did was not only illegal but unethical and he should be held accountable for that.

"Carter, who I’m now convinced is really Maureen Dowd in a fright mask" is the funniest line I've read in a while! I feel calling racism is like a magician that dangles a card and waves his right hand while his left hand is performing the deception; it's a distraction. The frustration I and people like me feel our president is about doctrine and policy - race is irrelevant. Racism exists, but it's not what this is about at all. So thank you, President Carter, for trying to perform your trick, but we've seen this magic show before and we know how the trick works.

Big Hollywood : A United States Marine Goes to a Town Hall Meeting

He says he's a Marine Corps vet so he's clear about his status. As the sister of a fallen Marine, and the daughter of a Corpsman-whom Marine's can't live without-I agree with those who say once a Marine, always a Marine. The title is deserved whenever it is earned. Semper Fi - you did the Corps, your country, your family, so very proud.

Big Hollywood : Rosie O’Donnell Calls Elisabeth Hasselbeck a ‘Tw*t’

Where did they find that picture of Rosie? Seriously, when is the last time she looked like that? It's all so very, very sad.

Big Hollywood : Obviously, Adam Lambert Isn’t Gay Enough

I didn't vote for Adam because I didn't care for his style of singing, but his talent is undeniable. Neil Patrick Harris is gay, but it doesn't define him and he doesn't spend any time discussing it. He would rather focus on his acting. I believe Adam feels the same way and he should be allowed to be that way if he sees fit. I am a heterosexual woman, but it doesn't represent who I am, and it would be ridiculous to think it does. Go on Adam, sing your songs, put on your shows and have a great time. You don't owe anyone anything.
