Is there anything that says one medical person for every 50 spectators? I just think there should have been more than one crew and yes there would have been a greater chance of getting to the incident quicker. I do go skiing all the time and I do see enough ski patrol. Sometimes on every other run and that's enough to get to an incident in adequate time. Yes, I can afford it. I understand that freak incidents happen. Just like a hockey puck hitting someone or a baseball. This safety device should have never left the truck. I've been around a lot of racing and never seen a safety piece fail like this. What's this helmet statement have to do with this? I guess probably one day we will.

I was sitting next to the family in the same row, so I saw some of what happened. I couldn't believe my eyes, it was like a movie. I feel so bad for that family. I think The Tacoma Dome should have had more medical aids and officers on duty. I talked to a police officer and he said the reason it took so long to get there was that there was only four of them working. Well with a large crowd like it was there should have been more officers on duty. I didn’t stick around the area, but I was told that the medical aids took a long time to get to the kid also. That could have been prevented by having more medical staff on duty or more effort to get them there as quick as possible. Before this happened we were talking to the family and taking family pictures for them. They seemed like great parents and the kids were so cute. My prayers go out to the family and the people that witnessed this incident.
