Also, note that she needed to be comforted while being interviewed, because retelling her story must have been extremely traumatic. Things are completely Wacky when the victim is treated either like a crazy person, a liar, or worse, a criminal themself. I should know, because I was faced with a similar situation where my life was threatened, and the burden of proof concerning the threat was placed on ME, not the person making the threat. Victims of threats have it really rough, and I will continue to pray that she remain strong, because she has a tough road ahead of her. Oftentimes it seems that criminals have more rights than victims.
