Thanks for the comments. I think Google's largest play won't be in the hardware, but in the software where they are very competitive with Apple, Palm and Blackberry. Hardware will become less and less important, because the hardware will inevitably become faster, more efficient and increase in storage capacity (aside from the aesthetics, where I believe Apple wins hands down). The software is what makes or breaks a phone.

And also, the new Palm Pre commercials weird me out...
