Tyler, I first want you to know I sincerely care about you and your life. It isn't easy to hear criticism or hatred. But there are a few things that concern me with your post. As a female, if I had mentioned I liked a male teacher in high school I would be kicked out too, you can't mess around with that these days and the teachers sure don't need the drama. Second, it feels like you are holding on to the conflict for justification or bitterness. I really don't want to minimize how you feel, I just want you to consider that this world sucks for many people, gay or straight and that if you allow every negative interaction to fuel a fire of differences, you will have a very negative outlook on life. It may sound cliche but if you feel "true to yourself" then you won't worry so much about what everyone else says. A real mark of maturity as a person is to walk through life seeing it through the eyes of the people around you, not just looking at how things affect your life or looking for disagreements. This may offend you, but that was not my intention. Many people in your situation would become bitter or angry or live their lives for a cause, but because you are young, I just wanted to open your eyes to a bigger perspective. Please accept my sincerity.
Like Burma, they believe in reincarnation and so they give a couple hundred year sentences just in case!
How did those guys sleep on the ship? I would have been jumping onto a life raft! ewwwww!
"Dingbats", nice Mr. Corner. Like a school kid caught lying, gotta try to blame other people. His selfishness screwed a lot of people who were counting on him, for what, a buck? Get a real job then, not stealing from the already poor.
It's not much different than seeing Holocaust victims displayed for your money. Do your homework, China is well documented on their citizen/prisoner/accidentally tortured to death genocide of people who's beliefs are different than the government.
Wow, probably changed his perspective when he learned what it felt like to be helpless and in need.
The only thing sadder than this story is most of the people commenting. He was trying to stop a fight, noble and brave. Doesn't matter what he did in the past. What is not brave is all of you ignorant punks slandering a dead man, assuming you know what happened. I loath gangs, but your hearts seem to be just as cold and senseless as theirs.
Shame on all of you, it's a friggin' beanie! Whatever he did in the past, trying to calm down a dispute instead of escalating it is honorable and brave. He got killed for it and 4 young kids don't have a dad anymore. Grow up.
