By the grace of God I walked away from the World Trade Center disaster, overcame emotional distress (depression) caused by bank fraud and identity theft, among other things. To borrow from Al Gore, take it from me, there is opportunity in chaos. I started running my business full time after 9/11 and realized how important it is to practice what you believe (faith and cultural traditions) when law enforcement fell down on the job.

In God We Trust. I trust that God's will, will be done so we can have peace around the world.

We will reach out to the organizations that are doing much needed work to help people put food on the table and keep a roof over their heads. Rather than reinventing the wheel, we will work to improve its performance. We will work diligently to move heads of households from a feeling of desperation brought on by the financial crisis to become knowledgeable stewards. We will move the [employed] homeless to affordable, 21st century, “green” and “smart” housing over time. We will move adults from welfare to public and private colleges/universities. Most important, we will empower those with an employee mindset in search of “jobs” to become social entrepreneurs on the path of progress toward implementing long term solutions.

Q: How we can all come together to start a new chapter for our country.

A: An employee from a public university left a message on my voicemail on December 22, 2008. She said that a friend highly recommended that she call me (I teach finance) to come to the school and work with the students. I’ve been a business owner for over a decade and to this day I remain humbled by the ability to grow my small business by word of mouth and recommendations. It gives me great joy to work with and empower the public at large, so I look forward to returning the call on December 26, 2008.
