I specifically search forums and blogs when trying to solve a problem, but it isn't anti-intellectualism on my part. Usually it's a question of context: I need to know the specific application of a topic to my particular situation, without learning the theory behind it or understanding the fundamentals of the field, and another noob is much more likely to be able to provide that quickly than an expert. Within my fields of expertise, however, expert opinion is both interesting and useful.
