I didn't intend to make myself seem like a victim in this. I don't believe, nor have I ever believed, that they are being taken down because of what it says in the videos. It isn't even humans who are taking it down. Believe me, I work for a company who does the exact same thing for other clients. I know how the content ID system works.
That being said, it also has nothing to do with how much, or how little of the movie I have shown. It has to do with the fact that the automatic system picked up on the footage, and flagged it.
Every youtuber who does this kind of thing, CinemaSins, Nostalgia Critic, Film Theorist, and countless others, take some measure to get around the content detectors. In the future, I will do the same. It's a bad system, but that's what you get on a free website, with millions of hours of video.
Again, sorry if I over dramatized it on twitter and led anyone to believe I was claiming they were attacking me for the content of the review. AGAIN, the makers of these films don't know, or care about my youtube channel. :-P
Sorry you misunderstood what I was getting at.

You are right. My reviews are not being taken down by humans, but by robots that match the content ID. They don't actually care what the content is, which is why they flagged my GND trailer review as well (but then I reuploaded it with the image shrunk down and it got passed them). Because we are all thinking about this way more than they are.
My point about free speech is that it's important to have the opportunity to criticize a work, even if the work is not shown in a favorable light. I try to make sure I do not leave any part of the film in my edit that isn't a set up for a joke or criticism.
Obviously, if they want to take my videos down, they can. Youtube can permit anyone to take anything down on their own website.
Honestly, it's not really a legal thing. They aren't going to sue me (I don't think). It's just a little frustrating. In the end, if it keeps happening, I'll just stop doing the reviews. I have plenty of other ideas.
Thanks for your input. Hope I didn't confuse anyone.
