I believe she was speaking specifically about sex and race discrimination cases, in which case, I think she has a legitimate point. But, I think of masculinity as also encompassing masculine behavioral traits (which are masculine by definition but certainly not exclusive to men) such as aggressiveness, competitiveness, ambition, and dominance. While judging in terms of considering others to be innately subhuman or otherwise inferior is mostly the province of whites, less severe judging is rampant in every sector of society.
