If you don't like 570 KVI, tune into most other radio and tv stations to hear the fact about the site, or call Crime Stoppers, or Washington's Most Wanted (speaking of 'endorsements'). The facts are out there for anyone who wants to put in a little effort.
Good luck and yes, please join the community meeting! The more concerned citizens the better -- just remember, Colton Harris-Moore is the enemy, not your fellow citizens! (And keep in mind if you decide to speak: they won't take kindly to someone trying to undermine their efforts to put him behind bars.)
Thanks for discussing this on here -- there's much work to be done so if you'd like to remain involved please just keep your eyes and ears open; if you'd rather not use our site, call your local law enforcement with any tips! Thanks Sarzo.

I can tell you for a fact that he began his investigation before this story was written. He has met with the Island County Sheriff's department and others in the area, and will be talking with community members at the community meeting on Camano Island Tuesday 01 June. Please see CatchTheBarefootBandit.org for more information.

Please visit CatchTheBarefootBandit.org to contribute to the discussion (but be prepared to compose a more thoughtful and reasoned comment than this one). Thanks!

THE REWARD IS $5,500 and growing daily.
The 'recently launched website' linked at the bottom of the article makes this clear on the 'Reward' page.
The reward is a vital component of this investigation and will play a big part in bringing this case to a safe and swift conclusion. Please be sure to refer to CatchTheBarefootBandit.org to find out how much the reward is growing.
OTHER Corrections:
Mike Rocha is a professional recovery agent. The term 'bounty hunter' unnecessarily sensationalizes and misrepresents his role. Unlike a bounty hunter, or head hunter, Mr. Rocha is serving communities pro bono in this case, and is contributing $2,500 to the reward fund -- not the actions of a 'bounty hunter'.
Mike Rocha's name is misspelled in paragraph 7.
Thank you for serving our communities by covering this story.
