Linda, i just checked out the site you suggested. (www.ourcaucus.com) Great site, the videos took a bit of time to watch, but well worth the effort. I certainly have a much better understanding of why our congressmen and Senators seem to have little concern for what "We" want. I also really liked the idea of a group formed that is active and already getting things done. Needless to say, we joined the group and are looking forward to sending our tea bag with a big stick! Thanks for listing the site.

Thats very possible isidiame, i actually don't remember what site i went to. Also hubby said he signed it later and there were over 100 signatures.

Dadeo, fantastic! I check this site daily, but have become discouraged that we are not united, working on one project at a time. I was very upset about the HR 1388 bill, a site was listed where you could sign a petition. I did so, and when i sighed it, i was the 32nd person to sign. Tonight i noticed that several people were concerned about this bill. If 1/2 of the people signed up for 9-12 project, had signed that petition, we might have made a difference. I also wrote my Senator, who wrote back and said he was proud to support that bill.......again one voice carries little weight. When we had our local tea party, (4 to 6 thousand people showed up), it wasn't covered by several of our local stations, and the one station that did cover it, said that he feared for his life, a lie, for the group was well mannered. The only people he interviewed was a lone protester who went thr the crowd yelling, "Obama", and a local Democratic official. Sorry, i guess my frustration is showing. I look forward to keeping up with your progress. I certainly think your on the right track here.

I just saw on Fox news that on Sunday, Obama supporters spent the day collecting signed pledges in support of President Obama and the Congress. Their goal was one million pledges, they received a hundred thousand pledges. These pledges will be sent to the Congress. I think this presents a perfect opportunity for non-supporters of congress to gather, and send in their pledges of non-support. To be most effective, they would have to be sent
at the same time. Anyone agree?

Hi Deanna, thanks so much for listing the two addy's. I found the group in my state and signed up with them. Now i feel like i am really part of a group, with projects and goals, things to work on. Its also great to know when and where the next tea party is planned.

To Mary Ann, I got the idea of designing a postcard for America's tea party. The front expresses our feelings, and no tea bags or tea tabs are necessary, its also cheaper to mail. Check it out if you like. www.zazzle.com/cassami
