Jihad Watch : Jihad Watch: Peace-loving Fatah revives an old manufactured grievance, blames Israel for Arafat\'s d

It was Arafat's choice to die in France - a country where issuing a cause of death is optional. Arafat didn't want the reasons for his death to be known. Add to that the book by a former Soviet intelligence officer called "Red Horizons" where he explains that the Soviets were able to control Arafat by blackmailing him with taped evidence of his homosexuality with his bodyguards and you have good reason to suspect the rumors that he died of AIDS. When Fatah wanted to have Arafat buried on the Temple Mount, Hamas objected. They said it was because he married a Christian woman but anyone who follows this website knows that it's not forbidden in Islam for a Muslim man to marry a Christian woman. No, the real reason they objected was because Arafat was a homosexual.

Jihad Watch :

These crimes are not spontaneous outbursts of violence brought on by a sudden change in social climate. These mobs are absolutely organized, spurred on by Islamic clerics and supported by Pakistani Muslim police officers. Secondly, your claim that their rection is culturally-rooted and not religious doesn't hold water. These outburts against religious minorities have happened periodically throughout the Muslim world through the whole history of the religion.

I, for one, think it's astounding that you can read a report of coreligionists burning people alive because of a rumor and turn it around so that you are a victim as well. Isn't that what you're saying? That these reports only serve to make Muslims look bad so that you are being Collectively Punished by the media when it gets reported? Further, you have the brass to tell us that the Pakistanis involved in these crimes really don't know their Islam which isn't believable at all.

Jihad Watch : Jihad Watch: Spencer: Misunderstanding Islam?

Good points. I'd also add that the case of the Saudi Islamic school in Virginia highlighted what is taught as Islamic thinking in Saudi Arabia. Muslims are permitted to take the lives and property of those deemed "polytheists." This is what the artcle said is written in these Saudi designed textbooks and by polytheists they also include Jews and Christians along with Hindus and Buddhists. I'm sure what this cleric had to say was either a reaction to al-Qeda threats against Saudi Arabia or purely for Western consumption.

"If you attend the funeral of Betulla Meshud's wife being killed by a drone ...what are you supposed to think? " Maybe I shouldn't attend social gathering with the most wanted murderer in Pakistan and people like Meshud shouldn't plot the death of other people's friends and family and assume he could safetly hide behind his own.

Jihad Watch : Jihad Watch: As expected, Saudi jihad school expansion plan approved by dhimmi Fairfax County Board

Nice try. I understand the difference between two families arranging a marriage with their children and an actual marriage between an adult and a pre-pubescent child. There have been cases, noted on this website and others of 8 -year old Middle Eastern girls divorcing their middle-aged husbands. They couldn't be divorced without the marriage having been consumated. There was also a recent story on Pakistanis in Britian who fly back to Pakistan to marry underage girls because it is illegal in their host country. In Iran, theage of consent for girls has been raised to 9. Again, this school is promoting the pedophilia practiced in the Muslim nations and so this school needs to be Waco'd immediately and not expanded.

"For example, ISA’s new texts endorse marriages between adults and pre-pubescent children" This school openly promotes pedophilia and you want to say that people who object are trouble makers. It has already been proven that this Islamic school promotes intolerance and encourages criminal behavior and you think a handful of corrupt politicians taking bribes from the Saudis in order to support this den of iniquity is to be celebrated. Unbelievable.

"the Jews conspired against Islam and its people" this is a historical fact " _ A social studies text offers the view that Jews were responsible for the split between Sunni and Shiite Muslims: "The cause of the discord: The Jews conspired against Islam and its people. A sly, wicked person who sinfully and deceitfully professed Islam infiltrated (the Muslims)." You really believe that's a historical fact? That a Jew posing as a Muslim caused the Shi'a-Sunni schism? LOL.

from linked article: McLEAN, Va. (AP) — Textbooks at a private Islamic school in northern Virginia teach students that it is permissible for Muslims to kill adulterers and converts from Islam, according to a federal investigation released Wednesday. Other passages in the school's textbooks state that "the Jews conspired against Islam and its people" and that Muslims are permitted to take the lives and property of those deemed "polytheists." _ The authors of a 12th-grade text on monotheism write that "(m)ajor polytheism makes blood and wealth permissible," meaning that a Muslim can take with impunity the life and property of someone believed guilty of polytheism. According to the panel, the strict Saudi interpretation of polytheism includes Shiite and Sufi Muslims as well as Christians, Jews, Hindus, and Buddhists. Need I quote more?

Of course, Muslims don't respect the "People of the Book". They believe Jews and Cristians have willfully distorted the word of God in order to deny the truth of Islam. Why would they respect Christianity and Judaism if they believe those belief systems are based on half-truths and distortions? This man was speaking truthfully as one educated in the Islamic faith. He views Christians as people who are essentially anti-God ("enemies of Allah", his words) because they are not Muslims and they deserve to die for sharing his air space.

Jihad Watch : Jihad Watch: Christian woman faces 40 lashes in Sudan for wearing trousers

All one has to know is that Sudan is governed by a fundamentalist Islamic regime to understand its laws and what those laws say about Islam. Forced conversion is part of Sudanese Islamic society. The BBC once ran an article detailing how the Islamic janjaweed threatened to drive a nail through any non-Muslim who refused to convert in villages they attacked. If it's not part of other Islamic societies it's because those societies have elected to exploit their religious minorities for jiya collection, also allowed in Islamic law, and not because Islam necessarily forbids forced conversions.

I wasn't trying to spin or sidetrack any issue. You feel that the State Department labels Hamas a terrorist organization as a special favor to Israel when in truth every known group that utilizes violence for its political cause as Hamas does is on the same list. Did Israel ask for Hamas on that list? I don't know and I don't see why they would have to. Do you have proof that they did "grovel" to have Hamas added?

I brought up this issue of Khadaffi, not because he was mentioned in the article or by Robert, but to see how you held up your principle of not labelling political leaders as terrorists since they have other responsibilities besides murdering people. Hamas does in fact engage in acts defined as terrorism. For whatever reason you are limiting terrorism to acts of international terrorism. Obviously the State Department doesn't do that. You'll claim it's a Jewish conspiracy but the State Depart also lists the Tamil Tigers and the LRA as terrorist groups even though they have committed no international incidents and are not a threat to Israel. I guess that means Ugandan and Sri Lankan-Americans have more pull than we previously thought.

Was it wrong to list Khadaffi as a terrorist as well? He was responsible for the care and defense of the Libyan people. On a side note, Hamas doesn't actually defend their people, they use them to defend themselves by their own admission. As for their care that is provided by outside parties and usually looted by Hamas.

Nobody stopped the Palestinians from having the government they freely elected. They aren't receiving the aid from the West agreed upon because their elected government chose not to abide by agreements signed by the previous government that got them that aid in the first place. That was their democratically-elected choice to make as well.
